The White Shark is a heavy-bodied shark that is blue-grey to grey-brown on top with white underneath. The boundary between these tones is generally abrupt.

Habitat & Range

The White Shark mostly stays in the upper part of the water column of nearshore waters. However, it ranges from the surf line to well offshore and from the surface and to depths of over 800 feet. They commonly feed on rays, sharks, fishes, seals, and dolphins.
